One thing that is not easy to deal w/ growing up....is w/ a parent who makes a difference in his/her children. This can be traumatic to the "Unfavored" child. They could grow up always trying to prove themselves, thinking they can NEVER b good enough. How could they be good enough 4 "Society" if they were NEVER good enough for those who chose to make & give birth to them? I mean....I have 4 kids & all of them are different w/ their own flaws. However, they each have their own strengths as well. And, while some are more like me, the others are more like their Dad. Either way...@ some point, u loved that Mother or Father enough to lie down w/ them, so don't take your beef w/ that Mother or Father out on that child that looks JUST LIKE him/her once that person walks out on you or you realize that he/she is not the one. That innocent child did not ask to be born which furthermore suggests this type of behavior proving even more so, society's being unprepared for these children. I definitely was unprepared 4 my kids, especially @ the tender ages of 15 & 16 years old. However, I truly love all my children the same, even w/ all their flaws. Remember, that same child u place on that pedestal will be the very one to disappoint u once they make u want to go hover in a corner by making u feel like a DISPLACED or LOST parent. Yes, u will be wondering where u went wrong when u gave ALL your love to this particular one...while your other children suffered in silence more often than not. That very child u placed up so HIGH will eventually make u feel so LOW. Marinate on that, Facebook. Embrace your children...flaws & all. Love them ALL the same. Who cares if 1 has good hair, 1 is light-skinned, or 1 has most of your characteristics? Who cares if 1 is dark-skinned reminding u of that fine woman/man u r still in love w/, thinking they r coming back? They are ALL your children, Suga. The very ones u placed on the back burner will be the same ones to offer u a kidney when in need. Whew! Lord, 4give me 4 STEPPING ON SOOOOOOO MANY TOES W/ THIS ONE.#excusememiss......#favoritismnotallowed>>>
